Being the capital city of California, Sacramento has a wealth of family-friendly activities that are especially enjoyable during the fall season. Here are my top 10 family activities in Sacramento, CA during the Fall season (not in any specific order of preference 🙂
1. Apple Hill
Located just an hour outside Sacramento, Apple Hill is a collection of over 50 apple orchards, pumpkin patches, and tree farms. It’s a great place for families to pick apples, taste fresh cider, and indulge in baked treats like apple donuts and pies. With the vibrant fall foliage, it makes for a scenic outing.
2. Gibson Ranch Park Pumpkin Festival
This annual festival is a family-favorite, featuring pumpkin patches, hayrides, corn mazes, and plenty of fall-themed games. Kids can pick their own pumpkins while adults can enjoy the scenic beauty of the ranch.
3. Effie Yeaw Nature Center
